Farming Valley Town
this valley is so deep, in general this world has a lot of annoyingly high mountains and deep valleys where I'd like to travel in a straight line. let's get back to that thought later. anyway, this little town/village is built kind of close to another, larger city, which is connected by portal to
Emerald Isle which is my main base.
so, the valley! it has a river, and it's deep but also wide. I started filling it up with fields and decided it'd be the farming town. on the way here is a mesa, so that's why I started using terracotta, and with acacia around, orange-yellow-red just naturally became the color scheme. also copper, because there's a lot of copper in the mountains which are just empty maws of dripstone caves.
not a lot of granite though, because I mined so much to construct a huge aqueduct. it goes through the mountains and all the way to that city I mentioned! I built a long road which circles on top of the mountains and across a hangbridge, too.
